From 1st October 2006 The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires the Responsible Person (RP) of any non domestic premises to carry out a fire risk assessment, including measures to reduce or eliminate the risk of fire, and identify persons at risk. Where there are 5 or more employees, a record must be kept of significant findings and a definition of a Responsible Person is contained in the above Order.
Our fire risk assessment reports are detailed, thorough and carried out by highly qualified assessors. We will advise on what is necessary, what may be advisable although not necessary a legal requirement. We can also give you advice on maintenance is required on your existing equipment. BUT the assessor is independent from Silver Group directly so you are not under any obligation to then use Silver Group for additional work or equipment. And the assessor certainly won’t advise that you requirement any unnecessary upgrades at all.
Your fire risk assessment is not a one-off procedure and should be reviewed regularly.
If the findings of the fire risk assessment are considered to be no longer valid or there has been a significant change to the premises, or the organisation of the work undertaken has affected the fire risk or the fire safety measures, the assessment should be reviewed.
