Gleneagle Manor

Intruder Alarms

As we recover from the festive holidays, its worth noting that following all those visits away to family and friends, there is a significant increase to household burglaries during the Christmas Break. In fact, according to UK CrimeStats, the increase is much as 20%.

Gleneagle Manor is a complex of 25 recently built high-end, luxury bespoke apartments close to the centre of Harpenden, Hertfordshire.

Following a spate of actual and attempted break-ins to a number of the lower ground apartments during November 2017, the residents were becoming understandably, very uneasy about their security, particularly with the approaching Christmas season when some of the apartments may be unoccupied. And so in early December, Silver Group were contacted to provide a security package available for each apartment, including a wire free intruder alarm, all necessary sensors, door contacts and for owners ease of use, proximity tags to set and unset the control panels.

Since the whole system could be installed wirelessly, this had the advantage of no unsightly drilling or wires and of course much less disturbance for the home owner. And with the state of the art modular system installed, the owner could even add home automation options too such as smart plugs, allowing complete control from their smart phones or tablets anywhere in the world. Silver Group worked closely with the property management to ensure the exterior bell boxes which provide a very useful clear visual deterrent, would have the maximum effect without having any detrimental effect on the magnificent Georgian style mansion buildings.

As you can imagine those residents at Gleneagle Manor were keen to have them installed before the festive break and Silver Group are proud to have completed all installations on those ordered in December before Christmas. But much more importantly, there have been no reported attempted break-ins since then. Those residents at Gleneagle Manor can sleep a little more easier now, knowing they are protected.
